Compass Lexecon has been named “Competition Economics Firm of the Year” by Lexology Index. The firm has won the award every year since its inception in 2015. This award is based on several factors, including feedback received in Lexology Index’s independent annual market survey, past performance in the research, and the overall aggregate number of weighted votes cast by practitioners around the world.

Winners of the Lexology Index awards were announced during a ceremony in London on 26 November 2025. Lorenzo Coppi, Co-Head of Compass Lexecon’s International Practice commented, “We are proud to receive this recognition for the 11th consecutive year, reaffirming Compass Lexecon’s role as a leading economic advisor in high-profile global competition matters. This achievement reflects the excellence, rigor, and commitment of our teams across the firm and around the world.”

Mary Coleman, Head of Compass Lexecon’s US Antitrust Practice, added, “As we look ahead, we will continue to invest in talent, innovation, and thought leadership to ensure that we remain at the forefront of the evolving competition and regulatory landscape.

Compass Lexecon also received the Spain Experts Country Award, recognizing in particular the work of its Spanish colleagues as economic advisors and experts. “This award is a wonderful recognition for our Spanish team at Compass Lexecon. We are fortunate to work with lawyers and clients who challenge us to do our best work. To have our contribution recognized in this way is both encouraging and motivating, so: thank you. ¡Seguimos!”, said Elena Zoido, Executive Vice President in Compass Lexecon’s Madrid office, who was one of the Spanish experts present at the ceremony.

Neil Dryden, co-head of the firm’s International Practice, won the award for “Competition Economist of the Year”, and Executive Vice President Boaz Moselle received individual recognition as “Energy Expert of the Year” for the second time in a row.

Earlier this year, Lexology Index published their Competition 2025 guide, which identifies individual experts who are considered to be the best consultants, expert witnesses and advisers in the world, and are highlighted for their expert knowledge and testimony in complex antitrust matters, as well as the superb advice they provide to lawyers and clients on intricate matters of competition economics. Compass Lexecon topped that list with the highest number of consulting experts featured: 66 professionals were recognized globally in the guide, of which 10 as Global Elite Thought Leader and 7 as Thought Leader.
