Boaz Moselle Named Energy Expert of the Year 2025 by Lexology Index

Compass Lexecon expert Dr. Boaz Moselle, Head of the firm’s Energy International Arbitration practice, was named the 2025 Energy Expert of the Year by Lexology Index. The award recognizes Dr. Moselle’s exceptional performance in Lexology Index’s research, which combines client feedback and recommendations with matter data.
The award was announced during the Lexology Index awards ceremony in London on 26 November 2025. Dr. Moselle said, “I am flattered to be named Energy Expert of the Year by Lexology Index. Above all, this award reflects the expertise, diligence, and commitment of my team and co-experts, to whom I remain grateful.”
With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Moselle is an economist specializing in pricing, regulatory, and valuation/assessment of damages, with a particular focus on the energy and commodities industries and in regulated infrastructure. He has provided written and oral testimony as an expert witness in over 50 international arbitrations, as well as in national courts and in expert determinations. Dr. Moselle regularly intervenes in the context of LNG price reviews, breach of supply contracts, and expropriation of assets. Recently, he testified on behalf of power cable manufacturer Prysmian during the preliminary issue trial at the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal for the Spottiswoode proceedings.
