Welcoming Margarida Matos Rosa to our Compass Lexecon International practice

Compass Lexecon is pleased to share that Margarida Matos Rosa has joined the firm as a Senior Consultant.

From 2016 until March 2023, Margarida Matos Rosa served as President of the Portuguese Competition Authority. During her tenure, she also held key international positions, acting as Vice-Chair of the International Competition Network (ICN) and as a member of the Bureau of the OECD Competition Committee.

Before leading the competition authority, she was managing director at the Portuguese Securities Markets Commission (CMVM), where she was responsible for heading the investment management supervision department.

Earlier in her career, Margarida gained experience in the financial private sector, working in economic research, investment banking, and investment management at firms including BNP Paribas, Santander Investment, and UBS Bank.
