Two Accounting and Finance Experts Join Compass Lexecon as Senior Vice Presidents

Compass Lexecon is excited to announce that Alison Forman and Julie Suh have joined the firm as Senior Vice Presidents in our Chicago and Los Angeles offices, respectively. Ms. Forman and Dr. Suh bring extensive expertise in finance, accounting, valuation, and damages.

Ms. Forman has nearly three decades of experience consulting on complex commercial litigation and regulatory enforcement matters. She is a CPA and is Certified in Financial Forensics. Her experience includes financial reporting under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Financial Reporting Standards, financial restatements, alleged fraud, materiality assessments, SEC disclosures, and internal control over financial reporting. Ms. Forman has worked across a broad range of industries, such as oil & gas, real estate, healthcare, retail, automotive, solar, technology, and construction. She specializes in accounting, financial reporting, and auditing matters involving the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, and state boards of accountancy. She also has significant experience in matters involving financial institutions, including lending practices, loan loss allowances, and mortgage-backed securities.

Dr. Suh is a testifying expert with deep experience in accounting and finance as a consultant, academic, and former investment banker. She has served as an expert in a variety of matters involving financial and cost accounting, valuation, and damages across various industries, including technology, financial institutions, energy, and retail. Most recently, Dr. Suh authored expert reports and provided deposition and arbitration testimony quantifying damages in a dispute involving breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, and intellectual property. She has also served as an expert in matters involving revenue recognition, valuation, cost allocation, and debt collection practices in arbitration, as well as in federal and state courts. Dr. Suh is currently a Visiting Professor of Accounting at the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance at Claremont McKenna College.
