Compass Lexecon Experts Professors B. Douglas Bernheim and Antonio Rangel Honored for Outstanding Antitrust Litigation Achievements in Economics

We are excited to announce that Senior Consultants B. Douglas Bernheim and Antonio Rangel have both received the American Antitrust Institute’s 2025 Antitrust Enforcement Award for Outstanding Antitrust Litigation Achievement in Economics, recognizing their significant contributions to economic methodology, analysis, and presentation in antitrust litigation, as well as to the positive development of antitrust policy.
B. Douglas Bernheim is the Edward Ames Edmonds Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at Stanford University. He has provided expert analysis and testimony in various federal courts and before major regulatory bodies, primarily in cases involving issues in antitrust, regulation, competition economics, and economic damages for a wide range of industries.
Antonio Rangel is the Bing Professor of Neuroscience, Behavioral Biology, and Economics at the California Institute of Technology. He is an expert in behavioral economics, neuroeconomics, public economics, and political economy. Dr. Rangel has provided expert analyses and testimony in federal and state courts in antitrust, consumer fraud, financial disputes, and jury bias cases.
