Joseph Simpson is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in London.

Joseph is a member of the International Arbitration practice with 4 years of experience in economic and financial consulting, specialising in quantitative analysis within the context of commercial and investment treaty cases. His expertise includes damages assessment, asset valuation, and financial analysis.

Joseph has worked on projects across industries including (but not limited to) renewable energy, oil and gas, infrastructure, banking, and real estate, covering regions including Europe, South America and Asia. He has contributed to expert reports, designed complex and customised damages valuation models and supported expert witnesses in arbitration and litigation proceedings under CIMA, ICSID, ICC, PCA, and Competition Appeal Tribunal rules.

Joseph holds an MPhil in Finance from the University of Cambridge, and a BSc in Economics from University College London.
