Benjamin Roux, CFA, is a Vice President at Compass Lexecon, based in London and Paris.

Mr. Roux specializes in international arbitration. He has a great deal of experience in performing business valuation, economic and financial analyses, and damages assessment.

Mr. Roux has provided expert testimony and participated in the production of expert reports in more than 25 commercial and investment arbitration cases under ICSID, ICC, UNCITRAL, and ad-hoc rules. He has also contributed to expert reports produced before domestic tribunals.

His experience includes advising public and private companies in a range of industries including oil and gas; mining; construction; infrastructure; hospitality and real estate; telecommunications; defense; financial institutions and retail. Mr. Roux has also participated in intellectual property disputes. These engagements involved projects and companies located in various countries including Algeria, Bahrain, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, France, Gabon, India, Libya, Mali, Mexico, Mauritius, Senegal, Switzerland, Turkey, and Ukraine.

Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Mr. Roux worked as a Director at Fair Links in Paris.

Mr. Roux holds an MSc in Management from HEC Paris and an MSc in Corporate and Public Management from Sciences-Po Paris. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, granted by the CFA Institute. Mr. Roux is a member of the SFEV (Société Française des Evaluateurs).
