Jonathan Kolstad Receives 2026 ASHEcon Program Chair Award

This award recognizes an exceptional abstract in each ASHEcon conference program area. Professor Kolstad was recognized in the Innovation and Digitization program area for his abstract Deep Causal Behavioral Policy Learning.

Professor Kolstad is a top health economics expert whose research interests lie at the intersection of health economics, industrial organization, and public economics. He uses behavioral economics, machine learning, and AI to better understand behavior and market outcomes and to design policy and technology interventions to improve welfare.
