We are thrilled to share that Compass Lexecon Senior Consultant Anja Lambrecht has received the 2026 Donald G. Morrison Long-Term Impact Award, presented by The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) for her paper “Algorithmic Bias? An Empirical Study of Apparent Gender-Based Discrimination in the Display of STEM Career Ads,” Management Science.
The award is presented annually to authors of a marketing paper published in an INFORMS journal that has made a significant and lasting impact on the field of marketing.
Professor Lambrecht is an expert in the digital economy and marketing, with influential research on online advertising, digital platforms, and consumer decision-making. Her research utilizes field experiments and econometric methods to study how digital platforms and emerging technologies shape consumer behavior and outcomes.
