Anja Lambrecht
Senior Consultant
Anja Lambrecht is a Senior Consultant with Compass Lexecon. She is a Professor of Marketing at London Business School and served as an independent Digital Expert for the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority.
Professor Lambrecht is an expert in the digital economy and marketing. By utilizing field experiments and econometric methods, she researches issues related to digital platforms, including online advertising and targeting, pricing and promotions, algorithmic biases, and decision processes of consumers. She also researches the impact of AI on the digital economy and consumers’ online behavior. Her expertise has been applied to consulting and expert witness engagements for companies including Amazon, Google, Meta, and Zoom.
Professor Lambrecht’s work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science, and Management Science. She is an Associate Editor at Journal of Marketing Research and Management Science.
Prior to her academic career, she worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in Frankfurt. Professor Lambrecht has a PhD from Goethe University, Frankfurt. She also holds a Diplom-Kauffrau from Goethe University, Frankfurt, and a Maîtrise des Sciences de Gestion from Université Paris-Dauphine, Paris.
