Compass Lexecon has been named “Competition Economics Firm of the Year” 2026 by Lexology Index. The firm has won the award every year since its inception in 2015. This award is based on several factors, including feedback received in Lexology Index’s independent annual market survey, past performance in the research, and the overall aggregate number of weighted votes cast by practitioners around the world.

Winners of the Lexology Index awards were announced during a ceremony in London on 5 November 2026. Neil Dryden, Senior Managing Director and Member of Compass Lexecon International Board, commented, “We are delighted to be named Competition Economics Firm of the Year for the 12th consecutive year. Congratulations to my colleagues and many thanks to our legal partners and clients!”

Mary Coleman, Head of Compass Lexecon’s US Antitrust Practice, and Niall H. MacMenamin Deputy President, added, “Being named Competition Economics Firm of the Year for the 12th consecutive year is a remarkable achievement. It reflects the consistent quality of our work and the strength of our teams worldwide.”

Compass Lexecon also received the Spain Experts Country Award, recognising in particular the work of its Spanish colleagues as economic advisors and experts.

Carla Chavich, Executive Vice President and Head of the International Arbitration Americas Practice, won the award for “Mining Expert of the Year”, and Executive Vice President Boaz Moselle received individual recognition as “Energy Expert of the Year” for the third time in a row.

Earlier this year, Lexology Index published its Competition 2026 guide, which identifies individual experts who are considered to be the best consultants, expert witnesses and advisers in the world, and are highlighted for their expert knowledge and testimony in complex antitrust matters, as well as the superb advice they provide to lawyers and clients on intricate matters of competition economics. Compass Lexecon topped that list with the largest roster of featured consulting experts: 65 professionals were recognised globally in the guide, of which 12 as Global Elite Thought Leader and 8 as Thought Leader.
