Wenkai MI is an economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Helsinki.
Combining a deep understanding of energy markets and strong quantitative skills, Wenkai has rich market modelling experience in the European power and gas sectors.
Before joining Compass Lexecon, Wenkai worked for more than seven years at EDF. He firstly worked as an energy market quantitative analyst for the purpose of risk management and then as a senior energy transition & power market analyst to contribute to EDF’s long-term European energy market outlook.
Wenkai holds a M.Sc. in Science and Executive Engineering from Mines Paristech and a B.Sc. in Physics from Nanjing University.
