Ria Abichandani

Ria Abichandani is a Senior Economist with Compass Lexecon based in Washington, DC.

Ria is a member of the International Arbitration Practice. She focuses on applying economic and financial analysis in the context of international treaty disputes. Her consulting experience includes asset valuation, financial analysis, and assessment of economic damages. Ria has contributed to the production of expert reports and presentations and the preparation of expert witnesses for hearings under ICSID, ICC, SCC, and UNCITRAL rules.

Ria has experience in asset valuation and the assessment of economic damages across several industries (including electricity, renewable energy, mining) and geographies (EU, Latin America, Asia).

Ria received a B.Sc. in Finance and Economics from Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University, and is also a CFA Charterholder.
