Martin Wickens

Martin Wickens is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Copenhagen.

Martin has extensive experience in competition economics, having previously worked at the UK Competition and Markets Authority for five years.

While at the CMA, Martin was the lead economist on several Phase 1 merger investigations, including both horizontal and non-horizontal mergers. His work also included contributing to Phase 2 merger investigations, market investigations, competition law enforcement, research projects, and the analysis of damages as a result of breaches of consumer protection law. His experience spans cases including financial services, entertainment & media, consumer services, healthcare, commercial transportation, and consumer products.

Martin received his MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and his BSc in Economics from University College London.
