Katharina Momsen

Dr. Katharina Momsen is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Berlin.
Katharina works on cartels cases, with a focus on German-speaking countries.
Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Katharina spent several years working as a postdoctoral researcher at the universities of Innsbruck and Heidelberg. Her research covers a wide range of topics from behavioural and experimental economics as well as industrial organization and environmental economics. Her work has been published in leading academic journals. While working as a postdoc, Katharina also provided behavioural economic advice a cartel case in the transportation sector.
Katharina holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Mannheim, where she specialized on behavioural economics and industrial organization. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Bayreuth. She is a native German speaker, fluent in English, speaks conversational Spanish and French, and basic Polish.
