Giacomo Capodaglio

Giacomo Capodaglio is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Milan.
Giacomo has been involved in several cases relating to mergers, abuses of dominance, cartels and damage estimation before the European Commission, the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM), and Italian civil and administrative courts. Giacomo has advised clients in a range of industries, including manufacturing, transportation, retail, agrochemical and energy.
Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Giacomo worked at a boutique economic consulting firm in Milan and, during his studies, spent a short time as a trainee in DG COMP’s Chief Economist Team.
Giacomo holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Economics (both with distinction) from Bocconi University, where he specialized in industrial organization, competition policy and microeconomic theory.
