MKM / KME Merger Cleared at Phase II by the European Commission

In December 2018, the European Commission approved the acquisition by which KME acquired MKM after a Phase II investigation. Both parties are suppliers of copper and copper alloy products.
Compass Lexecon provided economic advice to MKM, advising mainly on the regulatory review of the transaction. The Compass Lexecon team included Lorenzo Coppi, Kirsten Edwards-Warren, Kadu Prasad, Martina Caldana and James Andrews.
