Zita is a Vice President at Compass Lexecon with over ten years of experience as a competition economist, including at a national competition authority (Hungary), in the competition team of a sectoral regulator (the Financial Conduct Authority, UK) and in consulting.

She has been involved in cases in a wide range of sectors (e.g. retail financial products, FMCG, healthcare, telecommunications), policy areas (market investigations, abuse of dominance cases, mergers and policy advice) and jurisdictions (e.g. EU, UK, South Africa, Oman and India).

While working at the FCA, she gained experience in applying behavioural economics and consumer policy. Her background is also in competition: she completed her PhD in 2022 on topics in competition policy at the University of East Anglia and holds an MSc in Competition and Market Regulation from the Barcelona School of Economics.
