Yves Le Thieis

Yves Le Thieis is a Vice President in Compass Lexecon’s Paris office. He is in charge of the European energy market modelling capability.
Yves brings strong research and analytical skills together with an excellent understanding of energy markets and regulation. He has significant financial and economic modelling experience in the European power and gas sector, having worked on energy-related projects and developed models for utilities, regulators and Government on a broad range of issues, including market design, commercial and regulatory due diligence or state aid.
Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Yves spent two years as a power modelling consultant within the energy advisory practice of a consulting firm based in London and two years within corporate strategy at EDF Energy.
Yves has an M.Sc. in Management from Paristech in partnership with the London School of Economics and an M.Sc. in Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris.
