William Lobo is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in London.
He has extensive experience in competition economics having previously worked at a leading competition economics consultancy since 2015. He has worked on merger control, cartel damages, and information exchange cases.
William has particular expertise in merger analysis. He has provided economic advice in a number of merger control cases before the European Commission as well as multiple national competition authorities, including high-profile EU and global mergers in recent years. He has experience in a variety of industries, including agrochemicals, transport, technology, travel, and retail.
William holds a Master’s degree with high honors from the Paris School of Economics and a first-class undergraduate degree in Economics with French from the University of Nottingham.
