Thomas Bowman is a Senior Economist based in London.

Thomas has particular experience advising clients on allegations of anticompetitive practices, including several significant Article 102 investigations by the European Commission – Qualcomm (exclusivity payments), Qualcomm (predation) and TSMC (pricing practices).

Thomas has also advised on a range of merger cases across the EU and national jurisdictions, including: NVIDIA/Arm, Discovery/Warner Media, Amazon/MGM, Google/Fitbit, FCA Group/PSA, Disney/Fox, General Electric/Danaher, Marsh & McClennan/JLT, Hutchison 3G UK/Telefonica Ireland, Hutchison 3G Italy/Wind.

Thomas has sectoral experience across a range of industries, with a focus on technology, intellectual property, media and telecommunications.

Thomas holds an M.Sc. in Economics (with distinction) from University College London (UCL), where he specialized in industrial organization, and an M.A. (Cantab) in Economics from Trinity College, University of Cambridge.
