Thomas Bowman is a Senior Economist at Compass Lexecon based in London. He has over six years of experience advising clients on the economics of competition law cases.
Thomas has extensive experience in merger cases before the European Commission and national authorities across a wide range of industries, including Hutchison 3G UK/Telefonica Ireland, Hutchison 3G Italy/Wind, SSAB/Rautaruuki, Hillarys/Hunter Douglas, Marsh & McClennan/JLT, and Disney/Fox.
Thomas also has experience in private litigation of intellectual property in the telecommunication sector and has worked on several significant 102 investigations before the European Commission, including Qualcomm (exclusivity payments) and Qualcomm (predation).
He holds an M.Sc. in Economics from University College London (UCL), where he specialized in industrial organization, and an M.A. (Cantab) in Economics from Trinity College, University of Cambridge.
