Stefano Selis is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Brussels.
Stefano has been involved in several mergers and market investigations before the European Commission, the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), and other national competition authorities. Some recent mergers he advised on were Brookfield & Cameco/Westinghouse Electric Company, Farfetch/YOOX Net-A-Porter Group, Nvidia/Arm, and Aon/Willis Tower Watson.
Stefano has been involved in several cases in the digital sector, with economic assistance in the CMA’s Mobile Ecosystems market study, the CMA’s Mobile Browsers and Cloud Gaming market investigation and the Google Play Store investigation in India. Stefano is also part of the team working on the economic analyses related to the damage quantifications for a heavy truck manufacturer in the context of litigation proceedings in EU Courts.
Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Stefano was a trainee in the Chief Economist Team at DG COMP.
Stefano holds a M.Sc. and a B.Sc. in Economics from Bocconi University, where he specialized in the fields of industrial organization, competition policy and auction theory.
