Pierre-Emmanuel Peslier is an Economist with Compass Lexecon, based in Paris.
Pierre-Emmanuel has over five years of experience in the energy sector, with an extensive experience in power market modelling and power price forecasting.
Before joining Compass Lexecon in 2021, Pierre-Emmanuel was leading the French power market team at Aurora Energy Research in Oxford. He developed the firm's activity in France and oversaw several studies and conferences on a wide range of topics (weather impacts on electricity prices in France and renewables’ assets revenues; evaluation of business models for renewable projects; impacts of transport electrification on the French power market; due diligence and support for the financing of renewable portfolios (solar, wind and biomass); forecasting of FCR prices; etc.)
Prior to that, he was a research engineer at Engie research center (CRIGEN) in Paris, working on the economic optimisation of microgrids and various European projects.
Pierre-Emmanuel holds a Master's degree in the electric power industry from Pontificia Comillas University - ICAI (Madrid) and a general Master of engineering from Institut Catholique des Arts et Métiers (Nantes).
