Peter Clayburgh is an Executive Vice President at Compass Lexecon and Head of the Finance Practice in the Pasadena office. His areas of expertise include: securities and financial markets; corporate finance; damages; derivatives and structured finance; financial statement analysis; and valuation. He has led engagement teams for numerous Fortune 500 corporate and government clients on issues related to damages estimation, derivatives, mortgage-backed securities and other complex structured finance transactions, insider trading, loss causation, materiality, mergers and acquisitions, security price movements, transfer pricing, and valuation.

Clayburgh previously served as a research analyst, economist, senior economist, vice president, and senior vice president at Compass Lexecon (formerly Lexecon) from 2004-2013, first in Compass Lexecon’s Chicago office and subsequently in Pasadena. He has a B.A. in Mathematical Economics from Colgate University and an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
