Peter Clayburgh is an Executive Vice President in Compass Lexecon’s Chicago office. His areas of expertise include securities, corporate finance, and valuation. He has led engagement teams for numerous Fortune 500 corporate and government clients on issues related to damages estimation, derivatives and complex structured finance products, insider trading, loss causation, materiality, merger disputes, security price movements, transfer pricing, and valuation. Clayburgh previously served as a research analyst, economist, senior economist, vice president, and senior vice president at Compass Lexecon (formerly Lexecon) from 2004-2013, first in Compass Lexecon’s Chicago office and subsequently in Pasadena. He served as head of the Pasadena Finance Practice from 2014-2018. He has a B.A. in mathematical economics from Colgate University and an MBA with concentrations in finance and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
