Pawani is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in London.
Pawani has advised clients in cases before the European Commission, and the UK Competition and Markets Authority. She is particularly experienced in the valuation of intellectual property, in particular the valuation of standard-essential patents under terms that are fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory. Pawani also has also been involved in several high-profile cases related to mergers and cartels in a wide range of sectors, including telecommunications, packaging, retail, and transportation.
Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Pawani worked at PwC New Zealand as a consultant. She holds an MSc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and a double BA/BCom (Hons.) degree from the University of Auckland.
