Maxime Amadio is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Berlin. He is member of the European energy practice.

He has more than three years of experience in European energy economics and regulation, with a focus on power market modelling, market design, competition economics, regulatory frameworks and flexibilities.

In the field of electricity markets, Maxime has worked on a wide range of projects related to European power market modelling, both short-term dispatch optimisation and long-term investment decisions up to 2050, as well as on assignments regarding market design, regulatory frameworks and investment support. For natural gas and green gases, Maxime has conducted economic analyses on the future of the gas sector, including hydrogen, with a focus on decarbonisation scenarios.

Maxime brings professional experience as a consultant in the energy and competition sectors, as well as from various research institutes and the German Chamber of Foreign Trade. He is fluent in German, French and English and graduated from the University of Mannheim with a M.Sc. Economics.
