Marie Ulrich

Marie Ulrich is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Paris.

Marie’s work focuses on applying economic analysis and econometric techniques to competition policy. Since joining in 2023, she has been involved in several antitrust, merger and financial analysis cases.

Marie has worked in a wide range of industries both in front of the European Commission and the French Competition Authority. Her case experience includes Article 101 TFEU investigations by the French NCA in the electrical appliances and chocolate retail sectors, litigation and damages estimations in the manufacturing and transport industries, mergers and acquisitions (Intermarché/Casino), as well as valuation and financial analysis cases.

Marie holds a master’s degree from the Paris School of Economics, where she specialised in industrial organisation and game theory. She is fluent in both French and English.
