Marcos Andelsman is an Economist with Compass Lexecon based in Buenos Aires. He has worked with Compass Lexecon for over five years, primarily involved in the valuation of businesses and assets, and economic, financial and regulatory analysis in the context of commercial and investment arbitrations.

Marcos has participated in more than 10 arbitration cases in different venues (including ICSID and ICC) and has participated in five hearings. He has worked in cases in various industries, including agribusiness, construction, energy, mining, oil and gas and pharma; with investments in countries including Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. These matters involved economic, financial and regulatory analysis, the development of complex and customized valuation models, the drafting of expert testimony, the preparation of expert witnesses for hearings, and direct support to counsel and client throughout arbitration proceedings. He has also been engaged in consulting activities related to the valuation of assets and antitrust issues.

Marcos holds a B.A. in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba.
