Manon Pierson

Manon Pierson is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Milan.

Manon specialises in the application of economic and financial analysis to valuation and damages assessments, and price review disputes in the energy sector. Manon’s experience covers a wide range of projects where evidence was presented before International Arbitration courts.

Manon has been involved in commercial and investor-state disputes in a variety of contexts, including assessing changes in market conditions to propose an adjustment to the price formula under a long-term contract, estimating damages to equity holders in a gas exploration and development project resulting from a change in the fiscal regime or a delay in production start date, and analysing required reimbursements in relation to the EU Emissions Trading Scheme.

Manon holds an MSc in Business Economics from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (ULB) and Sciences Po Strasbourg, and an MA in Corporate Finance from SDA Bocconi. She is fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
