M. Milagros Neumann

M. Milagros Neumann is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has over four years of experience in business and asset valuation and in the quantification of economic damages, including financial, economic, contractual and regulatory analysis in the context of investment and commercial arbitrations.

Milagros has been involved in arbitration cases under ICSID, UNCITRAL, and CAIP rules and has participated in the preparation of expert testimony for four hearings. She has worked on cases across various industries, including construction, electricity distribution, highway concessions and telecommunications, in connection with investments located in Colombia, Honduras, Paraguay and Peru. These matters involved economic and financial analysis, contract interpretation, the development of customized valuation models, the drafting of expert testimony, the preparation of expert witnesses for hearings, and direct support to counsel and client throughout arbitration proceedings.

Milagros holds a MSc. in Finance from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Summa Cum Laude), and a BSc. in Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Summa Cum Laude).
