Laura R. Yergesheva is an Executive Vice President with Compass Lexecon based in Chicago. She specializes in securities litigation, corporate finance, derivatives and structured finance, and damages calculations. She has worked on cases in a variety of different industries including oil and gas, healthcare, finance, technology, auto, airline, and telecommunications. Yergesheva has experience working in international disputes and criminal cases, including those in Russia and other CIS countries. Prior to joining Compass Lexecon (formerly Lexecon), Yergesheva worked as a country manager for Sidvim in Moscow, Russia. She holds an M.A. in Social Sciences with specialization in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in International Business and Economics from the Kazakh State Academy of Management (currently Kazakh Economics University).
