Laura Phaff

Laura Phaff is a Vice President at Compass Lexecon, based in London.

Laura has experience of all types of competition proceedings, including merger control, abuse of dominance allegations, cartel investigations and regulatory price reviews. She has led the economic analysis on numerous merger cases at the OFT and Competition Commission and worked on several market studies and UK Competition Act cases at the OFT. She has worked on cases in a wide range of sectors, with particular expertise in consumer goods, hospitals, transport and online markets.

Laura previously worked for the Office of Fair Trading, the UK competition authority. She holds an M.Sc. in Economics from University College London (UCL) and an M.A. (Oxon) in Economics and Management from Jesus College, University of Oxford.
