Lars Martinez Ridley

Lars is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in London.

He has been involved in several follow-on cartel damages proceedings in the UK, Germany, and Spain, using statistical techniques for the purposes of overcharge estimation. He also has experience working on merger reviews before the European Commission, the CMA, and various other national competition authorities, using quantitative methods for the purposes of determining market definition and shares in various industries.

Lars holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Warwick with an intercalated year abroad at LMU Munich. He speaks Spanish, French and German.
