Kirupa Ramaiah is a Senior Vice President at Compass Lexecon, based in Chicago. He specializes in antitrust, industrial organization, and applied econometrics. Dr. Ramaiah’s area of expertise include providing econometric and antitrust analyses for matters relating to mergers, antitrust litigations, damages, price fixing, class certification, and intellectual property. He has supported clients in a wide variety of industries such as professional services, tobacco, airlines, office supplies, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and various other consumer products. Dr. Ramaiah has advised clients on cases before regulatory agencies around the world, including the US, Canada, Mexico, China, Australia, Singapore, South Africa, and Taiwan.
Prior to joining Compass Lexecon (formerly Lexecon), Dr. Ramaiah taught at the Rochester Institute of Technology and Rhode Island College. He has also served as a visiting professor at the U.S. Business School in Prague, Czech Republic, where he taught Decision Science/Business Statistics in the MBA program. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Northern Illinois University. He has published scholarly articles in microeconomics and applied econometrics, and has presented his research at various professional meetings.
