Karthik Raghavan is a Senior Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in London.

Karthik has experience in applied microeconomics, econometrics and competition economics, having previously worked at the UK financial regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Karthik has been involved in the design and evaluation of several high-profile financial services policy interventions as an Economist specialising in retail financial services markets. As the Private Secretary to the Executive Director of Consumers and Competition, and the former Economic Adviser to the Chief Economist at the FCA, he has advised on several market studies, competition economic, and cost benefit analyses from a strategic and economic perspective.

During his time at Compass Lexecon, Karthik has experience working across a range of industries, most recently with a focus on trucks, entertainment & media, and market research.

Karthik holds an MPhil in Economic Research and a BA in Economics from the University of Cambridge. He also holds an MSc in Finance and Accounting from Birkbeck, University of London.
