Jin Kiat Tan

Jin Kiat Tan is a Senior Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in London.

Jin’s work focuses on the application of economic analysis and econometric techniques to competition policy cases, including merger and antitrust cases, and damages proceedings. His experience covers a range of industries including manufacturing, automotive, technology and agrochemicals, among others.

Jin has been involved in several competition cases before the European Commission. In the recent past, he worked on the Fiat Chrysler/Peugeot and Bayer/Monsanto Phase 2 mergers investigated by the European Commission. He is also part of the team that estimates damages for a heavy truck manufacturer in the context of litigation proceedings.

Jin holds a M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Economic Policy from University College London.
