Hans-Jürgen Petersen is a Senior Vice President in Compass Lexecon’s New York and Chicago offices. He specializes in statistics and the empirical analysis of large data sets, including trading records. He has expertise in market manipulation and valuation of futures, options, and other financial derivatives. Dr. Petersen holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Before joining Compass Lexecon (formerly Lexecon) in 1998, Dr. Petersen was a Visiting Instructor and Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at Loyola University Chicago where he taught Mathematics and Statistics.
