Gianluca Strada is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Milan.
Gianluca has advised clients on global, European and Italian mergers, follow-on damages litigation proceedings and allegations of anticompetitive practices. Gianluca’s expertise spans industries such as digital platforms, technology, telecommunications, transportation, healthcare & life sciences, retail and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Gianluca worked at the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) on phase II merger reviews, as lead economist in phase I merger reviews and on the Online Platforms and Digital Advertising Market Study – for which he received the CMA Economics Management Team recognition award.
Gianluca holds an MSc in Economics cum laude from Bocconi University, where he specialized in competition policy and industrial organization.
