Florian Mockel is a Senior Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in London.
Florian has several years of experience in economic consulting. He has worked on merger control cases, cartel damage cases and international arbitration cases. Florian has experience of working across a range of industries, most recently with a focus on trucks, entertainment & media, and telecommunications. Other industries include energy, retail fashion, and office supplies. Before joining Compass Lexecon in 2018, Florian worked for NERA Economic Consulting in Berlin and Washington, D.C.
Florian holds an M.Sc. in Economics with a specialization in Game and Contract Theory from the London School of Economics and a BA (First Class Honours) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford. A native German speaker, he is also fluent in English and French, and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
