Diego Eduardo de la Vega is an Economist with Compass Lexecon based in Buenos Aires. He has worked with Compass Lexecon for over four years, primarily involved in the economic, financial, and regulatory analysis in the context of commercial and investment arbitrations and the valuation of businesses and assets.
Mr. de la Vega has worked on cases in various industries, including agribusiness, construction, consumer goods, energy, environment and waste collection, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and transportation in connection with arbitration proceedings related to Argentina, Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Panama, Peru, Uruguay, USA, and Venezuela. These matters involved the development of complex and customized valuation models, production of expert reports, preparation of experts for hearings, and direct support to counsel and client throughout arbitration proceedings. He has also been engaged in consulting activities related to telecommunication auctions in Colombia and USA, as well as in antitrust issues.
Mr. de la Vega holds a BA in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Tucumán (UNT, Argentina).
