David Ross is an Executive Vice President with Compass Lexecon based in Chicago. He specializes in finance, labor economics, and the economic analysis of the law. He has testified and authored expert reports regarding such issues as causation, materiality, damages, valuation and class conflicts in cases involving allegations of breach of contract, illegal insider trading, investment neglect, misappropriation of business opportunities, stock manipulation, unsuitable trading, securities fraud, and improper tax-avoidance schemes. He has consulted and directed studies on a wide variety of industries, including banking and communications.
