Cecilia Nardini is a Vice President at Compass Lexecon, based in London and practices in Italy, Brussels and London.
Ms. Nardini has over a decade’s experience in competition economics, having been involved in a large number of high-profile cases before European, UK and other competition authorities and courts.
She has particular expertise in merger analysis (e.g. SES/Intelsat, Thermo Fisher/Olink, Orange/Masmovil, Hitachi/Thales, Liberty Global/Telefónica, Thermo Fisher/PPD, FCA/PSA, Vodafone Hutchison Australia/TPG, T-Mobile NL/Tele2 NL, Bayer/Monsanto, Diebold/Wincor Nixdorf) and abuse of dominance matters (particularly margin squeeze and rebates cases).
She has been involved in several cases in telecommunications and broadcasting, but she has also advised clients from different industries including agrochemical, life sciences, semiconductors, manufacturing, payment systems, energy, pharmaceuticals, packaging materials and retail.
Ms. Nardini is recognised as a Future Leader in the 2025 Lexology Index for Competition Economists.
Ms. Nardini holds a MSc in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University, where she specialised in microeconomics and industrial organisation, and a MSc in Competition and Market Regulation from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.
