Aiden Lo is a Senior Economist in Compass Lexecon’s EMEA Competition Policy practice, currently based in Hong Kong.
Since joining in 2015, Aiden has been involved in a large number of high-profile competition cases.
Aiden’s analytic focus is on merger analysis and he has advised on cases before the European Commission as well as national competition authorities. His sector expertise spans across IT, telecommunications, energy, transportation, financial services, manufacturing and retail.
Aiden’s merger experience includes: Baker Hughes/Halliburton, Deutsche Börse/LSE, TMNL/Tele2, and IBM/Red Hat. Additionally, Aiden has advised on abuse of dominance cases in the food manufacturing industry.
Aiden graduated with his bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics and obtained his master’s degree at the Toulouse School of Economics, specialising in Industrial Organisation. Aiden is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
