Compass Lexecon Called "Remarkable" and "The Head of the Pack By Far" in Annual Assessment of Competition Economics Consulting Firms

We are pleased to announce that for the eleventh consecutive year, Compass Lexecon has been recognized as one of the top competition economics consulting firms by the Global Competition Review (GCR) in its annual Economics 20 survey. This year, GCR concluded that Compass Lexecon is "the behemoth among the other consultancies featured in the survey" and that the firm has a "remarkable competition group."

Compass Lexecon topped the list with the most competition economists, with GCR noting that Compass Lexecon is "the head of the pack by far." Additionally, GCR concluded that "competition economics giant Compass Lexecon" tops the list with 33 professionals nominated to the Who's Who Legal: Competition Economist list. GCR also noted that Compass Lexecon had three partners featured in its survey of Women in Antitrust.

GCR further reported that, "Once again Compass Lexecon proved its expertise, strength in numbers and global reach, having worked on 408 litigation matters across the world during the research period. This is over 300 more matters than Analysis Group [the next biggest firm that reported its numbers]." GCR highlighted that Compass Lexecon worked on 172 merger control matters, including the proposed Deutsche Börse/London Stock Exchange merger, the Marriott/Starwood merger, the proposed AT&T/Time Warner merger, the Agrium/PotashCorp merger and the CenturyLink/Level 3 merger as well as many other complex, high-profile transactions.
