Compass Lexecon Appoints Paul Reynolds as a Senior Vice President in London

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Reynolds as Senior Vice President. Paul will be based in our London office, where he will help to further build our 70-strong team and support our expansion across key markets.

Paul brings over 25 years’ experience in economic and financial analysis. He has worked on a range of investigations by national regulatory and competition authorities and the European Commission, as well as many international arbitration cases. He has particular expertise in communications, aviation and other network industries and has analyzed the interrelationship between competition and regulation across Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe.

Paul has advised the merging parties on a number of the world’s largest mergers including Procter & Gamble/Gillette, HP/Compaq, and T-Mobile/tele.ring, as well as advising regulators working on merger investigations. He has also assisted competition cases relating to alleged margin squeeze, anti-competitive price discrimination, refusal to supply, cartels and State aid investigations.

Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Paul was a founding partner of CEG Europe and also worked as a director in the telecommunications branch of the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC). He has a Masters of Commerce (in Economics) from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Western Australia.
