Compass Lexecon Announces that Professor David Dranove, Leading Healthcare Academic and Economist, Has Affiliated with the Firm

Compass Lexecon is delighted to announce that Professor David Dranove, a leading healthcare economist, has affiliated with the firm as a Senior Consultant. Professor Dranove is the Walter McNerney Distinguished Professor of Health Industry Management and Professor of Strategy at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Professor Dranove chairs the Department of Strategy and previously was Director of the Health Enterprise Management program and the Center for Health Industry Market Economics. His academic research focuses on the industrial organization of healthcare markets. He has published over 100 research articles and book chapters. His six books include Economic Evolution of American Healthcare and the popular textbook Economics of Strategy.

Professor Dranove has over 20 years of successful experience performing and testifying about economic analyses in both litigation and regulatory actions. He has provided strategic management consulting for several Fortune 500 companies. Because of his academic reputation and expertise, Professor Dranove is in great demand as a speaker and his advice is routinely sought by the American Medical Association among others. His experience includes testimony in litigation and regulatory actions. Prior to affiliating with Compass Lexecon, Professor Dranove was affiliated with Bates White Economic Consulting.
