Antitrust in the Financial Sector: Hot Issues & Global Perspectives

In recent years, two interesting developments can be observed in the financial markets antitrust arena: the increased scrutiny by antitrust authorities in the US, Europe and Asia; and the increasing growth of different payment systems on a global scale. This two-panel event aims to discuss these issues with key antitrust enforcers, lawyers, in-house counsels and economists.

Panel discussions will focus on: ‘The Amex Decision: Turning the Tables?’ and ‘Fintechs: How to Ensure a Level Playing Field for All’.

Speakers include Andrew Finch (US DOJ), Beau Buffier (NYS Office of the Attorney General), Kathy Card Beckles (JP Morgan Chase), Bruce Hoffman (Federal Trade Commission) and Jon R. Roellke (Morgan, Lewis & Bockius). Jon Orszag, Senior Managing Director of Compass Lexecon, will join the panel on the Amex decision.
