We are pleased to announce that Compass Lexecon, for the seventh straight year, was named as one of the best competition economics firms in the world by the Global Competition Review (GCR) in its annual Economics 20 survey. This year, GCR concluded that “Compass Lexecon LLC reigns supreme once more with the largest number of competition specialists by a wide margin.” In its review of Compass Lexecon, GCR highlights that Compass Lexecon continues to be retained on the biggest and most complex transactions, including Ticketmaster/Live Nation, United Airlines/Continental Airlines, Google-AdMob, Comcast-NBCU, Oracle-Sun, Pfizer/Wyeth, the Yahoo/Microsoft search deal, and the oneworld airline alliance.
Compass Lexecon’s competition practice includes 190 professionals, including Nobel Prize winners, six former chief economists of the Department of Justice’s antitrust division, a former chief economist of the Federal Communications Commission, as well as other prominent and recognized leaders in the field.
Selection into the GCR’s Economics 20 is determined by an independent survey that considers the size of the consulting firm, its reputation, visibility and historical pedigree, the work it has undertaken over the past year, and the quality of the individuals working at the firm.
