Zsolt Hegyesi

Zsolt Hegyesi is a Senior Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Düsseldorf.

Zsolt has been involved in a number of high-profile cases relating to a wide range of competition and litigation matters including cartel damages estimation and mergers such as Vodafone UK / Three UK and Discovery / WarnerMedia. He has published on recent competition law developments in Germany and Hungary. He has contributed to studies on renewable energy benchmarking and digital platform regulation.

Zsolt has advised clients in a wide range of industries including telecommunications, transportation, FMCG, entertainment and media, digital platforms, and energy, across several jurisdictions.

Zsolt holds an MA in Economics from Central European University and a BA in Applied Economics from Eötvös Loránd University. He is fluent in English and Hungarian and speaks German and Spanish.
