Vicente Munita Rozas

Vicente Munita Rozas is an Economist at Compass Lexecon Chile, based in Santiago. His areas of interest include competition economics, econometric analysis, and public policy impact assessment.

Since joining Compass Lexecon, Vicente has worked on a broad range of competition and regulatory matters, including merger control proceedings (both horizontal and vertical transactions), antitrust investigations involving alleged abuses of dominance, consumer harm and cartel-related damages matters, arbitrations, and relevant market definition cases.

Vicente has worked across a range of industries, including ports and maritime transport, aviation, telecommunications, steel, energy, consumer staples, insurance, and payment systems. He has worked in close collaboration with legal advisors and executives on behalf of leading corporate clients in Chile. He has also co-authored economic reports in proceedings before competition authorities.

Vicente holds an M.A. in Applied Economics with a major in public policy and a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in economics, both from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Among his recognitions, Vicente graduated second in his class in the M.A. in Applied Economics in 2020 and received the highest academic distinction for his thesis.
